Assistant Finance Manager - £30-35K DOE - Harrogate
My client, a highly successful operator in their field are looking to take on a new Assistant Finance Manager on an initial 9-month FTC with the option to extend. In this role you would be working for a high end company who not only service the local area but ship produce/stock worldwide.
We are looking for a passionate individual who has a commercial mindset and a solid understanding of finance and analysis. If possible, you'll have experience in a similar management accounting role working in Commerce, alongside a willingness to integrate with our dynamic team.
For this role we are open to both ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified candidates or candidates who would class themselves as qualified by experience.
This will be an onsite role based from the Harrogate office working 9:30am - 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Posting of daily sales and monitoring of actuals vs. forecasts
- Management of the accounts payable function, including matching and processing of invoices and delivery notes
- Daily Cashflow including forecasting and foreign currency payments, banking, preparing daily payments and maintaining accounts payable to terms
- Preparing for review timely and accurate monthly management reporting, including reconciliations of the Balance Sheet and updates to Budget, variance analysis and commentary
- Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organisation are met including VAT preparation and submissions
- Preparation of one monthly Payroll, including pension contributions and submissions
- Working closely with the Stock Controller and Buying team to ensure stock quantity and costing accuracy is maintained
- Working closely with the E-Commerce and Marketing team to resolve system queries & any financial assistance they may require
- Working closely with the Store Manager to maintain the CRM system, assist with the resolution of any EOD queries
- Ensuring a high level of communication with all team members to enable a solid understanding of the whole businesses current position
- Maintenance of accounts receivable relating to partner transactions
Requirements:
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or Qualified by experience
- Experience in either a Financial Manager or Management Accountancy role
- Advanced MS Suite
- Sage50
- CRM experience
- Inventory management or EPOS Systems (desirable)
