Description
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintain and improve internal controls
- Contribute to the preparation of management accounts
- Liaise with external auditors as required
- Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting projects
- Assist with the development of junior team members
- Aid in the continual improvement of financial processes within the company
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification or studying towards one
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
- Understanding of internal controls
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
