A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our highly profitable and growing clients based in Harrogate, for an Assistant Finance Manager to join them on a 12-month basis to cover maternity.
Whilst this is a contract role, due to forecasted growth within the company across the UK and overseas, there is a real change of this position becoming permanent for the right individual.
In this Assistant Finance Manager position, your duties will include the following:-
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis and preparing the monthly P&L's
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Maintaining sales ledgers
- Respond to audit queries
- Assessing controls and processes in place
To be considered for this role, you will need to be confident in hitting the ground running and possess the below skills/requirements
- Be a part qualified or qualified by experienced accountant
- Experience in preparing management accounts
- A confident Excel user
- Be confident in managing a busy work load
