SalaryHFG are currently working with an established Insurance Company who are looking to add an Assistant Financial Accountant to their already strong Finance team. In this role they will be deviating certain task to the Assistant Financial Accountant such as being responsible for accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal postings, cash flows and other general financial administration. The Assistant Financial Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Accounts payable management.
- Purchase and expenses ledger postings.
- Cash flow management.
General Skills:
- Having the ability to manage time effectively by prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are adhered and planning ahead accordingly.
- Being able to construct effective and accurate written communications including letters, faxes, emails and reports.
- Building and managing internal and external relationships utilising negotiation and influencing skills.
- Having the ability to solve problems promptly and efficiently.
- Being able to analyse data and reach conclusions, including management information.
