You will act as the first point of contact for inbound employee relation queries, produce monthly and ad hoc management information and assist in the delivery of providing professional, customer focussed employees relations support and advice to a Group of employees who are committed to improving the lives of their customers. You’ll work as part of a large People Services department and assist in the development and delivery of our People Services strategy.
This role will require a working knowledge of generalist HR issues, along with excellent communication skills and experience of providing HR support. You will benefit from delivering in a highly varied role, adding value to our People Services function. Included within this will be:
Acting as the first point of contact for inbound employee relations queries and processing all required administration.
Manage your own case load, collaborating with a team of managers, directors, and senior stakeholders.
Supporting the HR Business Partners with complex casework including complex change management programs such as large-scale consultations and TUPE’s
Be present in investigatory, disciplinary, capability and grievance meetings, as and when required to note take and to support the HR Business Partners.
Play a key role in the absence management process whilst working closely with the wider team.
Ideally, you will have prior experience of generalist HR within a HR / People Services function and be confident in providing advice.
The role is offered up to 12 months on a fixed term, hybrid basis, contracted to 32 hours per week. To us, this means homeworking with an expectation of some travel across our geography (Boston, Peterborough, and Rushden offices) for team meetings and training.
