Assistant Management Accountant

The company - a prominent player in the energy sector, is looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic team at their Lowestoft depot.  They are rapidly expanding and have a very clear and definitive growth path over the next 5 years+ about to execute a number of major projects this year.  As a business, they offer flexible offshore energy solutions but there are several revenue streams within the business.
 
The job – as their Assistant Management Accountant you would be involved in day to day financial tasks as well as some project accounting, getting involved in really significant and high value projects.  Provision of robust financial management for various contracts/projects, monitoring project performance in relation to costings, updating weekly forecasts, and managing change effectively. Collaborating closely with the Delivery Team, you'll be involved in addressing any operational concerns and providing financial performance updates.
 
You – you’ll be AAT qualified (level 4) with aspirations to progress with your ACCA or CIMA qualifications along, of which you would be fully supported.  As an Assistant Management Accountant or a role of a similar nature, you  will have 3-5 years accounting experience, you’ll be ambitious and driven and keen to progress through your career.   With exceptional attention to detail a proactive mindset and highly proficient skills within Excel in order to handle complex data.
