Assistant Management Accountant Job In Westbury

Assistant Management Accountant required in Westbury.

• Starting salary up to £28-30,000 per annum.
• 40 hour week Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
• Hybrid working! Two days in the office and three days working from home.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager Accountant to join our client’s multi-franchise approved commercial dealer group based out of their head office in Westbury where you will spend two days in the office and three days working from home. 
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing the month end management accounts and commentary.
• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Fixed asset management including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Reconciliations of certain purchase ledger account.
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Supporting the operational teams with financial information.
• Providing financial analysis/modelling.
• Ensuring/applying financial controls.

To be eligible you will have strong accountancy experience to an Assistant Management Accountant level or similar with an AAT qualification. You will have proven experience in the production monthly management accounts covering profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Overall you will have excellent analytical and numerical abilities, be a team player, and be IT literate. If you have an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification it would be highly desirable however that is not essential.
