About This Job:

Reporting to the Senior Director Commercial Insights & Strategy - EST-C region (Europe, Canada, NZ), this role was created to lead new ways of working within the region’s Commercial Insights & Strategy team.

In this role you will support the business by answering key questions with forward looking insights to advance the understanding across our main therapeutic areas and main markets. You will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Established Products portfolio across all affiliates, acting as main point of contact, continuously exploring opportunities to further improve forecasting accuracy and market understanding.

In particular, you will lead and galvanise the regional Commercial Insights cross-functional collaboration with the Information Systems team to maximize the benefits of the new Commercial Insights model by leveraging global capabilities such as Reporting, Data Strategy and Brand Analytics.

This is a reasonably new position so will provide you with the scope to innovate and improve collaboration and capability for the region.

Key activities are noted below:

• Develop deep understanding of the market landscape (market potential, trends, unmet medical/patient needs, market access challenges and competitor trends).
• Support the Commercial Insights and Strategy team in the design and implementation of KPIs across the priority brands in line with strategic and tactical objectives
• Serve as the primary strategic partner to Affiliate commercial leadership
• Maintain up to date information for all in-line brands (market definitions, equivalent units, etc.) and the documentation of dashboards and reports to ensure the data is correctly used, keeping ‘one source of truth’ across EST-C
• Provide assumptions and inputs to inform analytics plans for market and response models such as forecasting, identification of data sources and other secondary research
• Synthesize marketing intelligence learnings and drive strong cross-functional stakeholder communication to promote brand-level knowledge sharing and integration of key learnings.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Solid experience of Commercial Insights from within the Pharma industry inclusive of strategy development, market research, business analytics and strategic forecasting
• Evidenced experience of identifying, evaluating, and translating primary and secondary data sources/analysis to support franchise/product strategy. Proven experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• A solid understanding of business strategy, products and customers and the ability to collaborate across a matrix environment
• The ability to influence decision-making and support senior stakeholders without line-authority
• Strong communication and influencing skills, fluent in written and verbal English, to effectively communicate complex messages to a broad range of stakeholders

Education/Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in maths, science or equivalent is preferred

Additional Information:

• The is a permanent, full-time position based in the UK (other EU4 major markets may be considered)
• The position follows our hybrid working model with a blend of home and a minimum 1-day per quarter in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates should be located within a commutable distance of the office
