The Centre for Polymers and Composites (CPC) at WMG stands as a pioneering research centre in the realm of plastics and composites. Our comprehensive approach seamlessly integrates materials, manufacturing, design, and end-of-life solutions to propel advancements in the industry. With a history of innovation and successful technology transfer in plastics and composite processing, we have spearheaded sustainable polymer-based solutions across various sectors. Notably, our contributions include the development of cutting-edge high-volume manufacturing technologies for automotive composites. Research at CPC centres around the following key areas: (i) Lightweighting; (ii) Sustainability and Circularity; (iii) Added Functionality; (iv) Process and Structural Simulation. Given our sustained success and the ongoing growth in our team, we have an opening for a Associate Professor/Reader in Polymer and Composite Engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued advancements and be a part of a collaborative and innovative research environment.
