We are looking for a Medical Secretary to support and administrative service to the Consultants and Anaesthetist team across a wide range of Activities at our Practice Plus Hospital, Plymouth .
What you'll be doing
We are looking for someone with recent and relevant experience, who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
You will provide audio secretarial service for all consultants and any further communication required within the patient’s pathway.
Processing OPD reports, sending to GP’s where necessary and liaising with the consultants for any issues pertaining to the report.
Dealing with e-mails and telephone calls from patients/GP surgeries and any other external healthcare providers and internal staff.
Performing any other clerical duties as directed by the Patient Services Manager either generally or in instances where cover is required during the absence of other team members.

Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload
- Experience in a Secretary is desirable
