Job Description
AS the Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the accounts payable function
- Recharge costs and issue debit notes - monthly
- Reconcile bank accounts at end of month / Cash-flow / FX
- Input and reconcile monthly payroll
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets register on monthly basis
- Quarterly Dutch/UK VAT returns and its reconciliation
- Monthly reconcile prepayments and accruals
- Reconcile inter-companies monthly
- Manage Trial Balance for 3-5 business units (entities). The transactions to handle are high in value but low in volume
- Prepare first draft of monthly management reports
- Prepare first draft of monthly forecast as requested by Head Office
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this Accountant role you must have:
- Strong double entry accounting knowledge
- Proven record within a similar accounting role
- SUN software experience required
- Oil & gas experience desirable
