Bookkeeper– Gym Group  

Role:                     Bookkeeper

Location:               CentralLondon (1 day from home, 4 in the office)

Salary:                   £35,000

I’m working with a luxury Gym Group operating several sites in London, looking for a bookkeeper to work alongside their accountancy practitioners.

You will work on XERO and MindBody to extract P&L, monthly reports, and Payroll.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in similar members' club environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Accurate data entry of all invoices and sales receipts.
• Proficient in XERO software
• Provide a statement to the supplier with money outstanding.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate:

• Excel intermediate level (v-lookups, pivot tables)
• Able to communicate well with non-financial people.
• Able to roll up sleeves and get stuck in
• Payroll Knowledge and Xero
• Able to handle strict deadlines, and able to work under pressure
• Multi-tasking to handle multiple companies and email addresses
• Dealing with HMRC, banks, suppliers
• Worked in the hospitality or leisure industry as a bookkeeper or accountant.
