Twenty2 Recruitment are looking for a Bookkeeper to join a growing and busy Ilkeston based Accountancy practice.
Our client is a well established and friendly accountancy business that are constantly evolving and they are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join the team.
They offer a flexible approach and a great office culture. Part Time hours will also be considered.
Salary is up to £28,000 plus they offer enhanced benefits. Hybrid working offered too.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Bookkeeping and VAT returns.
- Reviewing clients’ bookkeeping records and reconciling on a variety of systems.
- Liaising with clients, acting as a point of contact for enquiries, and encouraging positive relationships.
- Some accounts preparation work, preparing accounts to trial balance stage
- Occasional general office and administration work.
What you will need:
- Strong bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation experience .
- Strong bookkeeping software experience, using a variety of different platforms (ie Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, written, verbal and active listening.
- Confidence when dealing with clients.
- Methodical and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to use initiative to identify problems and provide solutions.
