Bookkeeper

Twenty2 Recruitment are looking for a Bookkeeper to join a growing and busy Ilkeston based Accountancy practice.

Our client is a well established and friendly accountancy business that are constantly evolving and they are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join the team.

They offer a flexible approach and a great office culture. Part Time hours will also be considered.

Salary is up to £28,000 plus they offer enhanced benefits. Hybrid working offered too.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Reviewing clients’ bookkeeping records and reconciling on a variety of systems.
• Liaising with clients, acting as a point of contact for enquiries, and encouraging positive relationships.
• Some accounts preparation work, preparing accounts to trial balance stage
• Occasional general office and administration work.

What you will need:

• Strong bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation experience .
• Strong bookkeeping software experience, using a variety of different platforms (ie Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, written, verbal and active listening.
• Confidence when dealing with clients.
• Methodical and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to use initiative to identify problems and provide solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
