Full time - office based 4 days and 1 day working from home
Butler Rose are delighted to be working with SME tech business, based near Amersham, who are seeking a Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, working as a team of 2 within finance you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintain ledgers and internal job list
- Process and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Accurate data entry of purchase invoices & credit notes
- Prepare Supplier Payment File for approval
- Reconcile supplier statements to supplier accounts & deal with supplier queries.
- Produce & issue sales invoices, credit notes & statements.
- Insuring sales invoices are paid, and deposits received to payment terms.
- Produce aged debtor and creditor listings for management.
- Allocate all BACS payments to relevant accounts.
- Complete months end close processes as directed
You will ideally have some familiarity with the Xero accounting system along with confident Excel skills
You will be a good communicator, with a flexible approach and a good attention to detail. You will be naturally organised and diligent with a 'can do' attitude.
