This is an incredibly exciting time to join us as a Built EnvironmentTeam Administrator as we continue to deliver against our Sector Leading ‘Homes and Place' strategy transforming how we operate and organise ourselves, delivering safe service and affordable housing to our customers.

 

The role

This role can be based out of our Bristol or Basingstoke offices. Ideally, you'll be in the office 2/3 days a week with hybrid working culture. Salary is circa £26,000 depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to enter or build your career within the new homes sector.

Working in the Built Environment Team, you will be providing effective administrative support to the Built Environment Group including Technical, Commercial, Quality and Policy Teams and contribute towards the success of the teams in its objective of delivering new homes into the business.

This opportunity will include:

  • Providing a first point of contact for team related enquiries. Liaise directly with all internal and external stakeholders to solve problems using standard procedures in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
  • Creating and maintain accurate files, initially on the Development Server and then through a web-based Document Management System and internal folders ensuring that all documents are filed correctly and in a timely manner so that other team members, stakeholders and auditors can access documents as required.
  • Maintaining a database of key contacts which can be accessed by all team members and update the contact information as necessary.
  • Ensuring accurate processing of electronic purchase orders, requisitions and payments and resolve queries as necessary to ensure payment is made in line with contract terms and our Financial Regulations.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience using variety of software packages produce minutes, reports, spreadsheets presentations and any other documents as required using standard corporate formats and templates to a high standard of accuracy and speed.
  • Experience providing administrative support for technical teams.
  • HNC / HND qualifications in building or equivalent experience in residential quality or compliance is desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
