SalaryBusiness Analyst – Enterprise Tech & Transformation – Inside IR35
A leading tech company are looking for a proactive and adaptable Business Analyst who can support on different areas of business analysis across Enterprise Technology, as well as support the Strategy & Transformation Lead with various day-to-day tasks.
This role is inside IR35 and can be based out of either the London or Peterborough. It will be a 50/50 working model working 2-3 days from home and 2-3 days at your preferred base (either London or Peterborough office).
Responsibilities:
* Conducting effective analysis to clarify, evaluate business problems and requirements for change in a manner which supports the business strategic goals of the initiative / project. This includes documentation of requirements using various methods, such as: Process Mapping; Story Maps; Use Cases; Impact Mapping; Functional and Non-Functional Requirements Specifications; Features (User Stories), Data Mapping and Data Profiling.
* Responsible for conducting gap analysis of any new requirements and articulate business impact.
* Responsible for scope management of medium to large complexity initiatives. Focusing on delivering value frequent and often.
* Accountable and Responsible for creating quality stories in a timely manner to ensure a healthy backlog for your team.
* Accountable and Responsible for keeping your Product and Business Analysis artifacts relevant and up to date (e.g. process maps, workflow's, acceptance requirements, requirements, data models, story maps, etc.)
* Supporting Strategy and Transformation Lead. This includes:
* Liaising and initiating discussions with Programme Managers and third parties to ensure initiatives are moving at pace
* Ensuring that all cross-initiative actions post meetings are followed up with key stakeholders.
* Supporting creation of strategic roadmap including documenting meeting outputs and helping pull together next steps/plan
* Creating initiative documentation upon request to engage key stakeholders (from team members to CTO)
* Supporting where required with wider Enterprise Technology related activities
* Supporting governance and delivery on smaller initiatives where required
* Setting up meetings with relevant stakeholders including steerco
Experience required:
* Experience working in financial services industry on Enterprise Technology led transformation projects
* Strong experience as an end-to-end Business Analyst, doing process mapping, story maps, user cases, impact mapping, functional and non-functional requirement specifications, data mapping, data profiling etc.
* Strong stakeholder management experience, able to work across the business at all levels and when working with third parties
* Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams
* End to end delivery and change management exposure
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Problem solving mindset, inquisitive, proactive with a can do attitude. Someone not shy to get their hands dirty and dip into any problem they see. Someone comfortable with context switching.
