We’re now looking for a Business Development Director to join the team to grow our regional client network for the Managed Learning Services arm of our business.

Working in partnership with the European Senior Director of Sales and Corporate Marketing, you’ll grow the opportunity pipeline and meet sales targets through the implementation of Business Development strategies and initiatives.

Job Summary

  • Provide sales, account management and new Business Development skills to the organisation, allowing it to grow business through capture of new clients and to develop opportunities to expand within existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operational teams from different business units and regions
  • Execute sales development plans and participate in sales and marketing campaigns
  • Plan, organise, write and edit sales proposals
  • Plan, develop and/or participate in client sales pitches and presentations
  • Take the necessary steps to identify client needs and translate those into solutions that meet or exceed sales related targets and objectives.
  • Evaluate the risk of decisions, actions and proposals as compared to the potential opportunity. Make commitments only within allowable limits and engage your managers in the analysis and decision making processes when individual experience is limited or insufficient for the purpose.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a track record of meeting or exceeding Business Development targets within a Learning Solutions/Services environment.

You’ll be a strong communicator with excellent networking and presentation skills and will have an established network within the industry. Based in the UK and working on a remote basis, you’ll have the willingness to travel both throughout the UK and internationally across Europe.

Ideally you’ll have previous experience of working for a Managed Learning Services provider and fluency in another European language would be a great advantage.
