Business Development Executive

Field Sales
Salary: up to £30k dependent on experience + commission + car allowance
Location: Tewkesbury Head office Field sales across Oxfordshire and North Cotswolds.
My client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their Commercial Waste Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales in Oxfordshire and North Cotswolds and should have a basic knowledge of these areas. This role involves being on the road for the majority of the week, with a base at the Tewkesbury office.

Day to Day of the role:
Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, telephone, and other platforms such as social media and LinkedIn.
Input quotes, contact information, and deal stage data onto the company CRM.
Utilise company information systems and databases effectively, including completing monthly sales reports for the Sales Manager.
Implement new ideas and methods to improve contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhance the company’s reputation.
Liaise with clients to ensure the highest possible customer care performance/satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation.
Maintain direct liaison with Technical and Commercial departments to keep up-to-date records of all activities and report to the Sales Manager.
Develop close working relationships with other divisions and departments within the company.
Build proactive relationships with the team at the company’s headquarters, ensuring that your division benefits from the specialist skills and support available.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, particularly in the commercial waste or related industry.
Familiarity with the Oxfordshire and North Cotswolds areas.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant information systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
