Business Development Executive
Our client is seeking a new Business Development Executive to join their busy Marketing team. This role will represent the organisation to external stakeholders where you will manage key accounts and repeat business whilst proactively seeking new opportunities for partnerships.
Business Development Executive R esponsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Identify and engage new partnership relationships and enhance opportunities with existing customers and clients.
- Promote opportunities for engagement via email and telephone marketing campaigns.
- Develop and implement effective business planning and sales techniques to secure new businesses opportunities.
- Account-manage a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for specific programmes and regions in Oxfordshire.
- Take part in a range of marketing activities including those with external agencies and organisations.
- Representing the organisation at local business and networking events as and when required.

Business Development Executive Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, proactive, deadline and sales driven individual who enjoys building relationships and working with external partners.
- Knowledge and experience of Business Development and sales techniques and a track record of B2B sales ideally in an education, training environment or charitable sector.
- A confident communicator, you will possess excellent phone skills and possess an excellent level of customer service.
The Location
This is a full-time role based in South Oxfordshire, but will include a significant amount of travel within (and occasionally beyond) Oxfordshire so being able to travel between locations will be key (mileage will be expensed). There may be occasional weekend/evening work due to events (time off in lieu).
