Our client, based in Nottingham are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to work within their sales team.
The role of the Business Development Executive will be to build strong partnerships with customer organisations, building the foundations of a new customer base whilst maintaining existing ones. You would be responsible for ensuring that customers are properly introduced to the business and working with the client closely to ensure all of their requirements are met.
Our client offer a unique bespoke e-learning programme to their customers. This customer-base are all blue-chip/FTSE organisations such as Banks, Large Pharma, Engineering companies. They develop an on-line training programme for different departments within these organisations to aid the learning of employees.
Day to Day Responsibilities for the Business Developer role:
- Strong selling experience (with experience in selling Software As A Service (SaaS))
- You will be negotiating effectively to ensure new clients are onboarded successfully;
- Growing existing client accounts;
- Responsible for personal activity: arranging phone calls, meeting with customers and securing new business
- High sales acumen
The successful Business Developer will have previous experience ideally within software sales and have:
- Proven track record within Sales.
- Ability to win new business and effective negotiation skills with senior members of customer organisations.
- Happy to undertake calling of new clients as well as existing business;
- Driven and highly motivated to succeed within a competitive marketplace
