Business Development ManagerEngland (Remote)£55,000 - £65,000 + Company CarDo you want to be part of a logistics company that has tripled in size in the last 2 years?We are working with a fuel and chemical logistics specialist who are looking for a BDM with experience in hydrogen and gas to join their business. They are offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hydrogen market covering the UK. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, whilst identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.What you'll do:Understand the current market in hydrogen or industrial gas sector.To work towards personal and team sales target - establish measurable KPIs to track the success of the Business Development strategy.Engage and build strong relationships with the company and its customers.Pursue revenue opportunities with new and existing customers.Full knowledge of customer charges and commercial agreements.Manage regular account reviews to assess performance and areas for improvement.As a senior business contact managing the entire sales cycle - develop and lead the contract negotiation and closure.Work closely with the operations and finance teams.Lead and oversee the development of complex projects, confirming alignment with the delivery strategy.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and meet client expectations.Serve as the key point of contact for client accounts.Experience:5 year's experience in the Hydrogen sectorExperience in Business Development/ sales role in UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.Industry knowledge and experience in project management, showing successful project delivery.Self-Motivated in a sales environment.Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong negotiation skills whilst maintaining strong client relationshipsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.Package:£55,000 - £65,000 base salaryCompany Car20 days annual leaveCompany pensionPrivate Medical Scheme after probationFully remotePod Talent are independent specialist recruiters in the Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and R&D space covering roles internationally from entry to board level.
