SalaryMpeople recruitment are excited to be in partnership with a well-established company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to their team. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.
- Role:Business Development Manager
- Location: Hyde
- Salary: £45,000 plus bonus
- Hours: Monday to Friday
Duties as a Business Development Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Winning new business and building strong working relationships
- Developing effective sales and marketing strategies
- Managing existing order books
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Maximising opportunities
- Providing quotations
- Travelling to customer/prospect customer sites
- Offering solutions to customers, meeting requirements
- Support with projects including new product introduction
- Partake in the continuous improvement activity
The successful Business Development Manager will possess the following skills:
- Previous experience within Sales and an engineering/manufacturing background
- Knowledge of the Aerospace, Defense or Nuclear industries
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Experience operating CRM systems
- Ability to manage own workload
- Strong communication skills
