Would you welcome a working environment which will be stimulating but challenging? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Bath and North East Somerset Councils “Connecting Families” Team to appoint an experienced Business Analyst Manager. This post is funded through the Supporting Families programme and is a key member of the management team.
Excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and proficient in Excel are key requirements of the post, along with the ability to problem solve and develop both new and established working practices and processes. A good understanding of spreadsheets and their use and application as well as experience of using a case management system are essential qualities that are required.
Essential tasks include overseeing the recording and monitoring of the case work of the programme, specifically around outcomes, the financial management for various income sources and the management of a small administrative team.
This is a demanding post with a high expectation for self-motivation and intuitive thinking. You will need to demonstrate a practical can-do approach, be a good communicator and be able to motivate and develop the staff reporting to the post.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
