We are looking for a Business Support Officer for our client based in Cardiff. This role is temporary support to carry out a data cleansing exercise for the housing asset management ICT system. This would include checking information, documents and liaising with other departments to locate missing documents.
Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm - this role is working from home full time.
This is a contract running from May until October.
Duties will include:
- Updating and processing information/data in respect of non-mobile working to facilitate job progression through all work stages from raising jobs to completion of works and payment of general orders.
- Maintenance of relevant employee records within the service to include timesheets, flexible working, leave, sickness absence and training information.
- Raising orders with agreed suppliers and assisting the Business Support Co-Ordinator with the procurement of materials and supplies in accordance with the procurement policy.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience of working in operational services and delivering customer-led services to mulit-channel customers.
- Sound understanding of the office environment in order to provide effective administrative support.
- Customer/client relation skills are required combined with an understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines, prioritising own workload and the ability to work flexibly and effectively.
