You'll work from a prestigious office, but with 3-4 days working from home (or 5 days in the office, should you prefer). Hybrid and flexible working are a key element of this company's plan.
This is a Category Manager position, and as such you must have an extensive knowledge of the commercial markets to develop and deliver strategies to transform the procurement and supply chain process. As part of this role, you will:
- Protect the company's market leading status through managing a broad category spend across both direct and indirect sectors, while effectively managing the risks based on market trends.
- Spear-head supplier relationships to ensure contractual performance, while endeavouring to improve expectations.
- Transform the end-to-end category procurement strategies to achieve sustainable and marginal success.
- Facilitate commercial growth by highlighting opportunities to external stakeholders through your commercial expertise.
- Join the company's mission on educating the next generation on the importance of sustainability and diversity.
- Safeguard client's confidence in the company's abilities through providing effective solutions to their concerns.
A proven track record of negotiation and advising on risk management across multiple categories, is essential for this position, and you must be able to appreciate the needs of stakeholders in the short and long term.
