Job Title: Change Delivery Lead
Duration: 6 Months High probability of extension
Location: Mostly Remote role / London for onsite Days
Pay Rate: £400 Per Day PAYE or £513 Per Day Via Umbrella / Inside IR35
Role Purpose:
Change Delivery Leaders support the Senior Change Leaders within WPB UK Change in, delivering and embedding change, working closely with the business and our delivery partners. The role holder will collaborate with the Business to understand the desired change outcome, define delivery plans and lead teams with the capabilities to ensure the business outcome is achieved, leveraging opportunities and managing challenges. They are involved throughout the full change lifecycle and are typically responsible for defining plans, removing impediments, establishing an environment where the team can be effective and ensuring UK Change values and principles are adopted. Change Delivery Leaders will focus on ensuring value is delivered with the assets at their disposal. Change Delivery Leaders will usually lead initiatives and teams, managing Change Analysts, Business Testing Managers and Change Delivery Managers.
Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision-making areas
· Understand the needs of the business and define plans that encourage iterative deployment
· Identify risks and challenges to the delivery of business value taking appropriate action to minimise the impact.
· Demonstrate agility, reduce lead time, and remain connected to the leadership agenda
· Develop professional capabilities within the department that support an increased effectiveness of UK Change, often coaching others ‘on the job’ to enhance their skills and contribution.
Customers / Stakeholders
· Support Senior Change Leaders and business leads, understanding the business propositions and driving delivery of benefits
· Promote cross functional working with Business, Technology & Digital partners
· Build flexible and supportive relationships with flow to work teams such as HR, Legal, Compliance, Fraud & BRCM
· Deliver to agreed market priorities while remaining aware of Global/Group direction
Role Dimensions
The role holder will:
· Manage complex change initiatives with investment of between $500k and $2m
· Lead one or more teams comprising between 2 and 10 people
· Manage Change Delivery at a project / initiative level
· Have some influence inside of the department with regards to how change is delivered within WPB UK
· Support capability uplift within the department aligned to the people strategy
Knowledge & experience / Qualification
Minimum requirements:
· Experience of working change in delivery
· The ability to plan change and manage risks
· The ability to manage a team of Change Delivery practitioners
· Understanding of the change lifecycle
· Understanding of retail financial service industry
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring buy in and engagement
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Pragmatic and practical
