You’ll be responsible for breaking news inside the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, leveraging your network to get exclusive angles on the latest proceedings and developing a network of relevant executives, advisors, and lawyers.
We’re looking for an experienced journalist with an existing reputation for breaking antitrust stories.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing insights and analysis on antitrust and competition law cases going through Washington
- Building a network of contacts through calls, meetings, and attending relevant business and governmental events
- Reporting from court as well as breaking scoops on the latest proceedings ahead major competitors
