This is an opportunity to be the go-to reporter for a global audience of bankers, lawyers, and advisors for the largest M&A news service.

You’ll be responsible for breaking news inside the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, leveraging your network to get exclusive angles on the latest proceedings and developing a network of relevant executives, advisors, and lawyers.

We’re looking for an experienced journalist with an existing reputation for breaking antitrust stories.

Responsibilities include:

• Writing insights and analysis on antitrust and competition law cases going through Washington
• Building a network of contacts through calls, meetings, and attending relevant business and governmental events
• Reporting from court as well as breaking scoops on the latest proceedings ahead major competitors
