The Governors of Castleton Primary School are currently seeking enthusiastic and dynamic professionals to join our school staff team in September 2024. Position 1: Temporary Teaching position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join us on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will have experience working with KS1 or KS2 aged children, and have a passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. The role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students during a crucial period of their education. ECT’s may apply.
Position 2: Permanent Teaching position
We are also seeking a permanent KS1 OR KS2 teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love of learning in our students, while delivering a high-quality education. The position offers the chance to become part of our school community, with opportunities for professional development and career growth. ECT’s may also apply.
We are looking for a highly motivated, caring and committed teacher who has the ability to:
- Demonstrate excellent teaching in KS1/KS2 with high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour.
- Inspire children to learn in all areas of our creative curriculum.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding of assessment for learning.
- Take on a role in developing or co-ordinating a subject area.
- Work flexibly, closely and collaboratively with colleagues in our friendly, hardworking staff team.
- Have a creative, positive outlook and flexible approach to all aspects of school life.
