We have an opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join their team of staff in the Administration department.
This is a full role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Evidence of good standard of general education
- Good standard of numeracy & literacy
MUST be computer literate - Demonstrable experience of working in a patient/customer service environment
- Demonstrable experience of handling complaints and dealing with difficult patients/customers
- S1 experience.
- Previous healthcare and patient service experience is desirable
- Demonstrable experience of administration
- Experience in Sys1.
Duties of this role include:
- As a member of the administration team the post holder will support with direct patient enquiries across multiple mediums.
- Processing and handling of referrals within our electronic records system and national ERS platform. Processing of clinical notes and tasks to ensure patients progress along their care pathway.
- Play a key role in developing administration pathways.
- Answering patient calls and handling them appropriately
- Responding to patient and clinical emails.
- Franking and sending mail, sending faxes, scanning and saving documents
