Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of electronic security equipment for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications in the intruder alarm market. They design a wide range of multi-award-winning wired and wireless intruder alarm solutions, utilising market-leading technologies developed exclusively by their in-house R&D team.

They are seeking to appoint a new member to our team who will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of their existing Original Cloud production environment, which supports their product range. You will take the lead in product development for this area and be at the forefront of introducing the latest technology to the business.

You will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal ability. Your technical knowledge will be enhanced through your capability, to innovate and deliver state-of-the-art solutions to the challenges faced every day in our developing business.

Are you the right person for the job?

To be successful in this role you should have experience of working in an agile environment and be able to demonstrate substantial knowledge of:

• Various AWS Services including IAM, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Code Commit
• Security related protocols TLS
• Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB)
• JavaScript (client and server side) includingNode.js/npm
• User authentication APIs including OAuth, Cognito, Firebase
• Experience implementing AWS IOT Core technologies
• Experience working with PHP, Vue3 and/or React
• Git and related source control systems
• JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular
• Experience working with front-end frameworks
