Our client on the outskirts of Worcestershire is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator due to Growth, investment and a full order book. Our client is a well renowned engineering company which has a versatile and growing customer base. Due to growth within the business our client can offer an interesting and engaging work environment with a great package, progression opportunities and overtime on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within EITHER CNC Milling OR Turning. Also ideally you will have experience programming 3 and 4 axis CNC Millers using Fanuc controls OR experince programming CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls. Hours and days of work are open to discussion with which there will be some flexibility for the right candidate.
CNC Programmer Setter Operator
- Programming Setting and operating Either CNC Millers or CNC Lathes
- Editing programs all controls using Fanuc
- Programming and setting 3 and 4 axis machines
- Programming and setting Multi Axis/ twin spindle/ twin turret Lathes
- Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings
- Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work
- Working with a variety of materials
- To work to your own initiative and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience working with a variety of materials
- Able to be responsible for their own routing inspection
- Assist or instruct other operatives with set ups tooling and cutting details as necessary
- Wherever possible, identify and obtain tooling, fixtures, and machine programme requirements for jobs
- Ensure that routine maintenance (lubrication, cutting fluid, machine cleaning etc) tasks are carried out
