Description

• Manage and resolve a variety of complex Commercial Disputes
• Provide top-tier legal advice to a diverse client base
• To take an active role on a portfolio of cases across industry sectors in the Commercial Disputes practice
• Contributing to strategic decision-making, as well as the day-to-day running of cases, are central to this role
• To deal with external counsel, economists and funders
• To work on and manage claims at the pre-litigation stage, including preparing claim forms and particulars of claim and engaging in pre-action protocol correspondence and dialogues
• To manage large scale disclosure exercises
• Work collaboratively within a professional team to deliver high-quality legal services
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings
• Participate in business development activities to expand the company's client base
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Manage client relationships and ensure their satisfaction with the company's services
• Contribute to the development of the company's legal strategies and procedures

Profile

A successful Commercial Disputes Associate should have:

• A degree in law from a recognised institution.
• Proven experience in Commercial Disputes
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Strong experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in commercial dispute resolution
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• A strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
