If so, then The Adult Frailty East Area Teams are looking for you.

Current Vacancies are in the Skegness and Boston Teams.

About the role

Lincolnshire County Council’s adult care services are leading the way (quite literally; we have the highest CQC score in the country).

You will have a varied and interesting role, which requires partnership working with other agencies across the Health, Housing, and the Voluntary Sector. We are looking for a confident individual to carry out strengths-based Adult Needs Assessments and Reviews which, in line with the Care Act 2014; focus on what the person can do rather than their limitations, so that we can work with the person to maximize their independence. This will involve assessing Mental Capacity, managing identified risks, and considering any informal support available.

A social work qualification or registration is not necessary, and training will be given.

About You

The CCO role is demanding, and it is important that we recruit the right people; therefore, you must be motivated and enthusiastic, and possess the following skills and qualities:  

  • Dynamic flexible individual who can work autonomously and demonstrate good time management.
  • Positivity, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills as assessments are recorded electronically.
  • Good listener, demonstrate that you are actively listening.
  • Creative-thinking and good problem-solving skills.
  • Prior knowledge of the Care Act 2014 would be useful.
