Contracts Manager
Coventry
£75,000 - £80,000 plus car, bonus, package
Building & Construction
Are you looking to assert yourself in a contracts manager position in one of the Midlands' most reputable regional contractors?
Well, we're looking for someone like you who wants more from your employer than just a job and somewhere you will be part of the growth plans in the senior management team. The business has a demonstrable track record of promoting from within and this role is from a direct result of internal promotions opening up the position.
You'll be working for a family run business with c.£200m turnover that has a split of 80/20 in favour of public sector work. In your role as contracts manager, you'll typically manage 3-4 projects ranging from £2m-£10m in value. You'll need to be experienced in working hands-on with the site team as well as sometimes letting the PM take the reins - depending on the size of project it could be a site manager or project manager reporting to you. As contracts manager, you'll take the projects right from the bid stage through to completion and develop solid client relationships for repeat business.
To apply for this role, you could be a project manager who has delivered similar work looking for a step up or an existing contracts manager that wants more opportunities to grow and develop with an employer. What you will need is building & construction experience with a main contractor; public sector experience would be beneficial but not essential.
