Commercial Contracts Manager GBP53-58K Caerphilly Hybrid
My client, a global manufacturing and engineering business is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager with hands on contract management experience.
The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge and experience of UK contract law and will lead on all local contract reviews to support a construction orientated businesses with other legal and compliance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Commercial Manager or a qualified in-house lawyer who wants to embrace a challenging role at an interesting time for my client's business.
Success in this role will lead to wider opportunities within the business allowing the successful candidate to grow with, and influence the business.
Responsibilities:
Review, analyse and negotiate business contracts with customers, suppliers and other third parties.
Collaborate with the Group Compliance Manager and be accountable for the continued integration compliance policies.
Be the main point of contact for any generic legal issues from disputes and litigation through to property, intellectual property and insurance matters.
Work in a collaborative and collegiate fashion across the business, with key stakeholders such as finance, sales, tendering and project management and report into the Group Legal Director.
Take part in department projects and discussions of an L&C nature.
About You:
The successful candidate will either be a Commercial Manager with rounded legal skills and experience in construction background or a UK qualified solicitor with experience of working within the construction industry (preferably in an in-house role)
You must be a proactive individual with a "can do" attitude.
Good at influencing and relationship building with great attention to detail.
You must have good technical knowledge of contract law as well as commercial awareness
