THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading construction business, based in Leamington, who are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have previous experience within a busy Finance team, ideally with some exposure to Credit Control.
The successful individual will be the stand-alone Credit Controller for the business, so a self-motivated and proactive approach is required.
As there is lots of autonomy in this position and the opportunity to make the role you own, the ability to review and implement new processes is a must.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email.
- Ensuring bad debt and debt in query is kept to a minimum.
- Monitoring and allocating unallocated cash.
- Negotiating payment plans.
- Escalating debts to external agencies, as required.
- Reviewing and setting customer credit limits.
- Producing monthly reports and debt updates for senior management.
- Handling any relevant queries.
