Our client is an established farming and produce business supplying retail, food service and food manufacturing customers with a variety of packaged and prepared vegetable products.
Due to continued success and growth they are recruiting for a Credit Controller near Spalding.
The Credit Controller role will include processing, allocation and reporting of the sales ledger function including customer and price file maintenance and credit control.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Administer effective processing of sales ledgers to include accurate daily EDI and manual sales invoice routines, period end closedown and accurate cut off.
Accurately & promptly daily allocate cash ledgers.
Perform effective daily credit control to agreed terms and conditions.
Liaise effectively with sales management via debt reporting.
Deliver processing and reporting to specified deadlines in Finance teams timetable.
Liaise and support other company employees whose actions impact on the sales ledger.
Identify improvement potential, develop improved processes, action their implementation and monitor compliance.
Ensure effective and complete filing of primary documentation, including originating background.
Assist on Purchase Ledger Team as required.
Assist and provide cover for Reception duties, to including answering and redirecting calls, welcoming visitors, incoming and outgoing post, as and when required
Any other ad hoc duties as required and specifically assist within the overall financial ledgers team as required.
The successful Credit Controller will have current relevant experience in a similar role that includes credit control and sales ledger.
Salary range for the Credit Controller role is 23,000 - 25,000
