Job Title:Credit Controller
Location: Wellington, Somerset
Hours: Monday - Friday20-30 hours flexible with hours
Salary: £26,000 pro rata

Our established client in Wellington are currently looking for a Credit Controller or someone with a good financial background to join their team on a permanent basis!
A typical day will involve:
- Accurate control of the sales ledger.
- Chasing overdue debts, by telephone/e-mail/letter as appropriate.
- Allocating payments on to computerised open sales ledger system.
- Placing on and off hold customer orders.
- Resolving customer items in dispute/query so that payment can be made.
- Raising credit notes and special charges.
- Reconciling the sales ledger control account.
- Providing information on overdue accounts to the Financial Controller, and Business Development Managers.
Please note that this role outline is not exhaustive : To apply for our role ideally you will have;
- Professional financial qualification - AAT or equivalent experience.
- Good practical and theoretical accounting knowledge.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular intermediate use of excel.
- Previous experience in a financial role.
- Possess good communication skills, as this role involves liaising with all other departments throughout the company, and at all levels.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage.
