Reed is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join a reputable financial services business with a national presence, based in Bath. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, looking to advance their career in Credit Control. You will play a crucial part in ensuring timely debt payments and maintaining precise records, contributing to the financial health of the company.

Day-to-Day of the role: 

• Ensuring Customers fulfil their payment obligations on time and maintaining meticulous records.
• Monitoring customer payment performance, processing requests, and managing administrative tasks efficiently.
• Assessing customer credit using industry standards and making informed decisions to approve or deny credit.
• Negotiating payment plans, establishing terms and conditions, and setting up repayment schedules.   
• Collaborating with the head of credit to support legal actions in cases of delayed payments.
• Working closely with third parties as necessary to facilitate debt recovery.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• A proactive approach to a career in Credit Control with a desire for progression.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience in Credit Control or a related financial role is advantageous.
