Credit Controller - Part Time

Location: Warwick, Warwickshire
Hours: Part-Time - Tuesdays and Wednesdays with working hours of 8am until 4:30pm
Duration: Temporary - 8 weeks
Pay Rate: 15 per hour
We are currently recruiting for our client based in Warwick looking for a Credit Controller, this role will be Part Time working a total of 15 hours per week. The purpose of this role is to clear the backlog of aged debt, you will be working with the finance team and contribute to the efficient management of their credit control processes.
Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of credit control colleagues to collect old customer balances relating to parts / service work. The Credit Controller will need to gain an understanding of the reasons for balances remaining unpaid and work with relevant staff across the business to resolve any issues and recommend further action where appropriate
• The Credit Controller will be expected to maintain an up to date query list at all times to manage work and support discussion with the Financial Accountant. The log will need to be updated with details of all communication, with balances chased until resolved
• Levels of overdue debt should be minimised within commercial constraints, with individual balances understood
• As part of the role, the Credit Controller will be in regular contact with customers by telephone and email, and will also be required to print and send out debtor statements and copy sales invoices to support payment requests

Requirements:

• You will need to have relevant expierence within a Credit Controller role, this must be for a minimum of a year
• Qualifications are beneeficial although not mandatory
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and the ablity to work with an older IT system
