Your new role
The purpose of this role is to provide engineering support, including administration duties, to ensure the smooth running of the operation of the business. Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Scheduling and coordination of engineers for various jobs
- Updating data and internal systems in order to maintain sequential files with excellent attention to detail
- Support in timely provision of report writing for management and overall business objectives
- Liaising with customers to organise appointment dates and resolving problems and complaints
- Support all processes required to ensure effective operation of emergency services including rota preparation, database update, liaison with dispatch centre, issue of safety notices to the Health & Safety Inspectorate as required
- Ensure phones within the department are answered in a timely and professional manner
- General ad hoc administrative duties
What you\'ll need to succeed
Essential Criteria
- English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience within an office / administrative environment
- Excellent organisational ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Comprehensive IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages, in particular MS Excel
