A great opportunity has become available for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our flourishing Customer Service Administration team, with work-based learning in the office, as well as ‘off the job’ structured training, working towards an accredited Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Supported by the Customer Service Manager, you will learn and develop the skills to enable you to deliver high quality levels of Customer Service, administration and organisation. This entry level Customer Service and administration position is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career within Customer Service and business administration to join a well-established, fun team. Full-time, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.00pm, based from our Head Office in Camberley, Surrey (GU15).
The role
The Customer Service Administrator forms an integral part of KOOSA Kids friendly Customer Service Team. Your role will be to provide first class Customer Service to the parents using our childcare services and administrative support across KOOSA Kids departments.
Supported by the Customer Service Manager you will learn and develop the skills to enable you to deliver high quality levels of Customer Service, administration and organisation. As the first point of contact for customers, you will learn to excel at maintaining a professional, friendly and courteous manner at all time. You will proactively manage customer enquiries by phone and email, set up and manage parent accounts, process bookings and provide general administration support across the business. You will be comfortable working on a variety of software packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of call for telephone and online bookings and queries
- Manage club absences on our internal bookings system, escalating any issues to the Customer Service Manager
- Managing incoming & outgoing post and recording data on special deliveries
- General administration support for all KOOSA Kids departments (Customer Service / HR / Recruitment / Operations / Finance / Marketing)
- General office support including photocopying, shredding and filing
Skills & Experience
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a clear desire to develop a career in Customer Service and Business Administration is key. No previous business administration experience necessary.
- Willingness to learn and develop and commit to a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship (usually 12 – 18 months to complete).
- Demonstrate good written & verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes helpful, specifically Word & Excel
- Be an enthusiastic team player.
- Have good time management & organisational skills.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude & flexible approach to tasks.
- Be reliable, friendly and professional at all times.
- Be a people person with great communication skills who takes pride in delivering outstanding Customer Service.
- No business qualifications at Level 3 or above.
- Applicants without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this prior to taking their End Point Assessment.
- Have the ability to be cleared for an enhanced DBS check.

Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm
