Customer Service Executive

Job Description: Customer Service Executive Location: Chalgrove Job Type: 3 month fixed term contract, full time - Interviewing on Friday 19th January and starting the following week! Primary Industry: Customer Service and Order Processing Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum

This position is based on the industrial estate in Chalgrove and, ideally would suit someone with their own transport. If not then there is a bus route and the bus stop is a 20 minute walk from where you'd be working.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Executive to join a friendly team in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

The Company specialises in the distribution of a wide range of medical/scientific equipment and tools to the medical world, including Research & Development and Universities.

Job Duties:

As a Customer Service Executive, you will handle incoming customer inquiries via telephone, email, and online chat, assisting customers with product information, order placement, and issue resolution. You will identify and escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department and will provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer satisfaction.

You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and interaction details, following company guidelines and policies to ensure consistent service delivery.

One of the main aspects of your role will be to collaborate with team members to achieve both individual and team targets.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to empathise with customers and provide appropriate solutions
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Proficient in using computer systems and Customer Service software

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of Customer Service principles and practises
• Ability to multi task and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong active listening and communication skills skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and, ideally, experience using CRM software
