Customer Services/Ecommerce Coordinator

Your new company
Hays are working with a well established manufacturing company in Telford who are looking to recruit a Ecommcerce Coordinator into their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join this rapidly growing business.
Your new role
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and adaptable individual who is passionate about the digital commerce landscape. In this role your responsibilities will include:
• Assist in managing and optimizing product listings on our online customer portal.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date product information.
• Support end customer onboarding, training, and fault management, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a point of contact for fault resolution, maintenance.
• Work closely with the Customer Services team to align portal functionalities with customer service demands.
• Contribute to understanding complete business processes and systems to enhance the overall customer journey.
• Assist in providing detailed reporting and analysis of portal usage.
• Conduct research on competitor products and services, offering recommendations for platform improvements.
• Collaborate internally to address queries, manage issues, and contribute to the overall customer experience.
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing to support the execution of digital components of marketing campaigns within the portal.
• Collaborate with the Website developer to contribute to optimal UX/UI design for our customers.
• Support the creation of digital content and clearance promotions.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be:
• Enthusiastic self-starter with developing organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Keen on learning with a results-oriented mindset to contribute to achieving business goals.
• Exposure or willingness to learn about Umbraco and Google Analytics.
• Basic understanding of Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
• Developing literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills, including an interest in measuring online marketing effectiveness.
• Creative thinker with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Awareness and interest in current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
