- Position:Deputy Catering Manager
- Hourly Rate: £12 - 12.95 per hour per hour depending on experience.
- Location: Bolney (Own transport essential)
- Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30am - 1.30pm Fridays
We are delighted to be working alongside an Education Specialist, seeking a Deputy Catering Manager on a temp to perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking for a Monday - Friday position.
The Role:
- To prepare and cook meals during the day, serving evening meals when on duty.
- To serve refreshments at meetings as required.
- To ensure compliance with correct Food Hygiene Legislation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- To take food temperatures and record them on temperature chart.
- Assisting in the maintenance of stock records.
- Checking in deliveries if required.
- Ensuring the kitchen is left clean and tidy at the end of shift.
- If the Catering Manager is absent, the Deputy Catering Manager to take over responsibilities.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Catering qualification to the minimum equivalent of NVQ Level 3 including Food Hygiene Certificate.
- An understanding of the importance of health and hygiene regulations.
Due to the nature of the company an enhanced DBS is required. If you do not have an enhanced DBS then you must be willing to have one processed.
