Based in Belfast, your new company are delivering some of the most sophisticated and sustainable regeneration projects in Northern Ireland, building on their large-scale mixed portfolio of residential, commercial, tourism, education and retail space. They are now seeking to add an experienced Development Manager to their highly successful team with exciting, upcoming plans.
Your new role
The Development Manager will work with the Commercial Director to deliver the Group’s development projects and business development activities together with assuming responsibility for the proactive asset management and letting of the Company’s commercial property portfolio to maximise rents and value.
The Development Manager will be involved in all matters relating to the letting and development process from inception to completion, analysis of rental and sale offers, development appraisal and development financial modelling, drafting of business cases as well as management of third-party service providers and business development activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To perform this role at the standard expected, it is essential that you meet the following criteria.
- 3rd level qualification in property development or a related discipline
- RICS qualified or equivalent or working towards such qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years commercial property development and letting experience
- Detailed knowledge of development appraisals, financial modelling of development projects and analysis of development proposals
- Experience of successfully managing a team, working as part of a team and across teams
- Ability to work under pressure to strict and exacting deadlines and react quickly, professionally and effectively to ad hoc situations
- Tenacious with the ability to get all tasks completed efficiently
- Strong interpersonal, planning, IT and communication skills
