About the role:
The Digital Marketing Apprentice (Programmes & Events) plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Good Finance programmes and events which focus on educating leaders of charities, social enterprises and sector networks about the role of social investment.
You’ll report directly to the Programmes and Projects Manager and your role will sit within the wider Engagement team at Big Society Capital.
Good Finance is part funded by Big Society Capital. It is a free, online platform that exists to help charities and social enterprises across the UK navigate the world of social investment. Through a range of online tools, resources, programmes, case studies and events, they engage directly with networks, infrastructure organisations and leaders.
The role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Main Responsibilities:
Social Media
- Create engaging content to promote programmes and events across social media channels – Instagram, LinkedIn and X
- Track metrics across social media channels and generate reports
- Analyse key metrics and adapt social media content to maximise engagement
Email marketing
- Create engaging email marketing campaigns to promote events and encourage sign-ups
- Schedule regular emails to ensure engagement across learner programmes
- Measure and report on email metrics and apply learning to maximise open rates and click through rates
Website
- Design and update of webpages to support rebranding
- Use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and engagement to relevant webpages
Events
- Support with the facilitation and delivery of events (online and in-person)
- Set-up of registration platform and weekly tracking of registrations
- Support with speaker communication
- Create engaging assets (imagery, video content etc.) to promote events
- Co-manage the info@goodfinance email account, responding to any event or programme-related queries
- Support with slide creation
Programmes
- Support with the delivery of training and education programmes – answering email enquiries, sending onboarding emails, speaker support
- Track learners and progress on a weekly basis
- Support with the development of course content including video editing and slide creation
Case studies
- Development of case studies to tell the story of social investment
- Liaise directly with investors and frontline leaders to collate required information
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
