Director of Finance
£90- £100k depending on experience

The NHS are looking for a an interim Director of Finance for one of their sites based in Derbyshire and are seeking a talented Qualified Finance Director to join them for 6 months. The role is hybrid and will offer flexible working hours.
Core responsibilities:
- The Director of Finance (Operations and Delivery) is a key leadership role within the Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and across the Joined Up Care Derbyshire System (JUCD).
- The Director of Finance (Operations and Delivery) is responsible for providing financial leadership across JUCD and will provide professional and business planning advice to the ICB Board and JUCD partners.
- The Director of Finance (Operations and Delivery) will ensure compliance with financial, accounting, auditing and information obligations and related statutory and other required duties of the ICB.
- A key component is the requirement to interpret highly complex changes in national policy and the financial implications impacting the ICB and JUCD.
- The DOF (Operations and Delivery) is supported in their activities by the finance teams for the ICB, therefore effective line management, coaching and performance development of the finance team is an important part of the role.
- This post deputises and represents the CFO at key meetings of the ICB, NHS England and other national and regional meetings as required.
Prior Experience and Qualifications
- Ideally fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA or ACA)
- Great communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Previous experience within the NHS is a must.
- An advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
This role is ideally suited to a candidate who already possesses experience within a high level NHS role within finance. You will be either immediately available or on a short notice period and are happy to commit to 6 months work.
