This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Due to the beautiful remote location, access to your own transport is essential. Work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns and part-time working (minimum 4 days per week).
Role:
The purpose of this role is to oversee the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategies to engage and retain customers or clients. The primary purpose is to leverage email communication and CRM platforms to nurture leads, build brand loyalty, and drive conversions. Responsibilities include crafting compelling email content, segmenting email lists, designing automated workflows, and analysing campaign performance metrics to optimise results. The Email & CRM Marketing Manager aims to enhance customer relationships, increase brand awareness, and ultimately contribute to business growth and revenue generation. You’ll also help to ensure that we hit our company targets to halve our CO2 emissions by 2030 and be part of a business ensuring that we maintain our exceptional customer service scores.
- Play an active role in our Group CRM development. Testing and learning with our sister brands to maximise the potential of our technology.
- Identify key customer segments and tailor strategies to address their specific needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of CRM initiatives with marketing, sales, and customer service efforts.
- Evaluate CRM platform performance & technologies to ensure Inntravel is getting the most out of its systems
- Work closely with IT and other stakeholder to implement and integrate CRM systems with other tools and databases
- Take day-to-day responsibility for email scheduling, delivery, reporting and campaign selections using Emarsys and Apteco/Fastats.
- Own email performance, being aware of our commercial focus as a driver for campaigns.
- Develop automated workflows & trigger-based communications to support all aspects of the customer journey and manage the customer lifecycle - owning the email test plan and proactively suggest ways to optimise email performance.
- Ensure our content is consistent with the business focus and set targets for every email.
- Monitor email best practice and share this within the business.
- Grow our email database, using CRM tactics through all available channels to increase the volume of high-quality contacts.
- Segment customers based on demographics, behaviour, purchase history and other relevant factors, feeding this information into other channels owners.
- Define KPIs and metrics to be shared with the wider business
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Person:
- Experience of end-to-end email campaign planning and execution: including setting objectives, segmentation, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Design Awareness: Understanding of best practice design to collaborate with graphic designers and ensure visually appealing on-brand emails.
- A/B Testing: Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies to optimise subject lines, content, and calls-to-action for better performance.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click through rates, conversion rates, subscriptions) and derive actionable insights.
- GDPR Compliance: Familiarity with email marketing regulations and best practices to ensure campaigns comply with relevant laws.
- Project Management: Coordinating with internal and agency teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Tangible success: A portfolio showcasing successful email campaigns and their impact on key performance indicators.
- Proficiency in CRM systems: Experience utilising and creating journeys using a CRM system.
