Job description

This is a Hyrbrid Role 3 days in the Office.

Our client is one of the UK’s top 100 start-up companies. they provide eco-friendly tissue, wipes and more, made from bamboo, the world’s fastest growing plant - and guess what, They are growing pretty fast as a company too.

They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their B2B team which will target clients within the European Union. Based on Lower Thames Street by the River Thames in London, you will be working with a wonderful group of ambitious and fun loving team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential B2B clients within the European Union.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Product Knowledge:

  • Become an expert on the product range, sustainability ethos, and competitive advantages.
  • Clearly communicate product features and benefits to potential clients.

Sales Presentations:

  • Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations to showcase the products.
  • Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of potential clients.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients.
  • Close deals and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular feedback to the team on market insights.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance to the management team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the sustainable or FMCG sector.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and eco-friendly products is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the EU as needed.
